FAQ
How can I help support the work of the Ontario Heritage Trust?
The Trust welcomes financial gifts in support of its work. Donors are encouraged to designate their gifts to the Trust activity that most closely reflects their own area of interest. In addition to gifts of cash, we accept land, buildings or cultural artifacts that are significant to the heritage of the province and cultural artifacts related to our properties. Conservation easements on built or natural heritage properties can also be donated. More information …

What are the benefits of making a donation to the Ontario Heritage Trust?
Aside from knowing that you have played a role in saving a part of Ontario's heritage, you can benefit in other ways when you donate to the Ontario Heritage Trust. Charitable tax receipts will be issued for gifts of money and for the full appraised value of gifts of property, artifacts and heritage conservation easements.

Can I determine how I want my donation to be used?
In most cases, yes. For instance, if you want your donation to go toward a specific garden restoration project, simply indicate that and we will designate your donation to that project. Some of our programs are more general – such as Doors Open Ontario or the Provincial Plaque Program. But wherever possible, we will try to make the best fit between your wishes and the Trust's many heritage activities.

Are there any corporate sponsorship opportunities with the Ontario Heritage Trust?
The Trust welcomes opportunities to partner with corporations for special projects. For more information about corporate sponsorships, please contact us.
