Over 685,000 archaeological artifacts have been recovered and catalogued from the Trust's properties. They include material that dates from Ontario's prehistoric past to items from the 18^th to 20^th centuries. These important heritage items provide insight about the people who lived here before us.

The Trust has conducted archaeological research on most of its properties. Archaeology is promoted through on-site displays and educational programs. The Trust also produces publications that inform readers about archaeological findings across the province.
