Easements – a shared commitment.

Easements enable the Ontario Heritage Trust to protect an important heritage site without owning it. They also enable conservation-minded Ontarians to permanently protect the heritage value of their property while continuing to enjoy it.

The Trust welcomes donations of heritage conservation easements. We also welcome financial contributions that will enable us to continue to acquire and monitor easement sites and assess proposed changes that might alter a site's heritage value.
