Senator George T. Fulford 1852-1905

The Brockville-born George Taylor Fulford entered the patent-medicine trade in 1886, and in 1890 acquired the rights to his most famous product, "Dr. Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People". A prominent businessman, local politician and philanthropist, Fulford was appointed to the Senate. Fulford Place, the 20,000-square-foot Edwardian mansion built by Fulford, is owned by the Ontario Heritage Trust.
