No, our facilities are competitive with other venues. And we offer entirely unique spaces for a variety of purposes – special events, celebrations, weddings, meetings, cocktail receptions, seminars and presentations. The unique architectural details and alluring ambience created by our heritage venues give us an edge in the market. First thing you need to determine is what kind of event you're planning. Is it a meeting or corporate seminar? Or are you hosting a wedding reception or cocktail party? Or are you a filmmaker looking for the perfect Edwardian backdrop for your upcoming blockbuster? Once you've determined what your event will be, then it's simple. We have carefully selected a list of top-rated caterers who will provide you with the best-quality food and service, with extensive menu options at competitive rates. They will also be able to accommodate special dietary requirements. Most of our venues have parking available in the neighbourhood – either metered parking or public lots. In some cases, we can accommodate valet services or make special parking arrangements. Check with your Event Coordinator at the time of booking for more details. Yes, you can enjoy the luxury of a 20,000-square-foot Edwardian mansion at Fulford Place in Brockville – overlooking the St. Lawrence River. Scotsdale Farm is also a popular filming location (but is not available for weddings or meetings). To protect our carefully restored interiors, only stand-alone exhibits, flip-charts and displays are permitted in the rooms. Nothing can be tacked or taped to walls or any other heritage surfaces. Please check with your Event Coordinator for other arrangements. A limited number of tables and chairs are included for most events. Please discuss your needs with your Event Coordinator. Smoking is not permitted in any of our rental venues. |
