Coulson Room – This mahogany-panelled room measures 26 feet x 18 feet (7.9 m x 5.5 m) and features stained glass light fixtures, an ebony fireplace, mahogany table and a walk-out to a small garden. Perfect for sit-down dinners for up to 16 guests, the Coulson room is frequently used in combination with the Morning and Drawing rooms for dinner parties and cocktail receptions for as many as 90 guests. The Coulson Room is also used often as a bar and reception room before dinner. Lower levelNelson Room – This bright and cheerful room measures 26 feet x 18 feet (7.9 m x 5.5 m) and is decorated with pine flooring, wainscoting and charming botanical prints. Often used as a dance floor for weddings and celebrations. Servant's Hall – The warm wood and deep colours of this room are reminiscent of a gentleman's club. Groups of up to 20 can enjoy this 18-foot x 18-foot (5.5 m x 5.5 m) room whose southern and eastern windows are complemented by halogen lighting. Ideal for cocktails and intimate conversations during your reception, this room is usually booked in combination with other spaces in the house. It can also be used as a bridal room. Entire house – All events requiring a dancing area must rent the entire house as dancing is only permitted in The Nelson Room (lower level). Weddings – Our facilities can accommodate wedding ceremonies and receptions. The ceremony can take place in the Morning/Drawing Room followed by toasts and appetizers in The Coulson Room while the catering staff sets up the Morning/Drawing Room with round tables for dinner. |
