Parking: Important numbers: Experience the elegance of the Edwardian era at the Ontario Heritage Centre. Built in 1909 for the Canadian Birkbeck Investment and Savings Company, this former financial building is ideally situated in Toronto’s downtown core. Carefully restored features include the wood-panelled Oval Boardroom, marble lobby and one of the last manually operated elevators in the city. The reception rooms are graced with decorative plaster, wood and ironwork, high ceilings and large windows that provide generous natural light. Combined with friendly, dedicated staff, this landmark building makes any gathering a memorable affair. Room configuration: The ideal number for stand-up cocktail receptions is 80-150 people. For corporate dinners, we can comfortably accommodate 100 guests (10 tables of 10 each). For weddings, we recommend a maximum of 120 guests (12 tables of 10 each) for a plated dinner. Note: Two of the tables will need to be removed after the dinner to provide room for the dance floor. For a wedding buffet dinner, we recommend a maximum of 100 guests (10 tables of 10 each).
This room can also be booked in conjunction with The Gallery downstairs as a wedding ceremony room or for a stand-up cocktail reception room before dinner in The Gallery.
