  • Ontario has over 64,000 km (39,800 miles) of trails
  • Approximately 800,000 Ontarians use hiking trails
  • It is estimated that trails contribute at least $2 billion a year to the provincial economy
  • Trails can link historic and cultural sites, and open opportunities for cultural and historic community festivals, events and competitions
